  3. Our objectives • To create an SOS app on the iPhone • Aid user in times of emergency • Send the user’s location to their respective contacts • Enable tracking of children

  4. Our app name • Our app name is called LifeSaver.

  5. Target audience • Senior Citizens • Ladies • Young Teenagers/ Children

  6. Reasons For Creating Our App • Senior citizens tend to have more health concerns. • In an emergency, they are able to activate this app to notify their contacts for immediate help. • Caters to children or ladies, who are possible victims of assault or kidnap; as it will send the last whereabouts of the user to their contacts.

  11. Our findings (survey results) • Parents: • 100% of the parents we surveyed find the app useful. • About 91% of them would download the app. • Seniors: • About 17% of the seniors we surveyed lived alone. • About 87% of them would download the app. • About 90% of them find the app useful.

  14. SOS My Location by i2e consulting LLC Disadvantage The application is unstable. (it crashes sometimes) • SOS - Save Our Socks by It Makes Sense Disadvantage Uses email to send the alert, email is not as reliable as SMS.
