Ready for learning Uniform Expectations Black blazer with school badge and magenta trim worn at all times unless permission granted to remove Specified Haileybury logo Tailored, Black trousers Magenta tie Plain grey V-neck long sleeved with magenta piping. Specified Haileybury Turnford Black Pleated skirt must be worn 2 inches below the knee Black Knee length socks or black opaque tights Black polishable school shoes Not canvas or suede or any other similar material.

Homework expectations • As parents and carers you can support by encouraging good organisational habits at home, checking your child’s planner regularly, monitoring your child’s home learning and the work completed, and by contacting us if you have a concern. • After school Homework Club for KS3
Good attendance and punctualityimproves chances of success • Good attendance and punctuality are essential if you are to achieve your full potential, both academically and socially. • You must arrive before 8.30am • The main school gates will be locked at 8.30am • If you arrive after 8.30am will be marked in as Late and will be issued with a late payback (detention) • Registration starts at 8.35am ·You will attend a payback with a Year Achievement Coordinator on the same day at break time. ·Failure to attend this payback will result in further consequences. • Repeated late attendance to school will be treated very seriously and if you are repeatedly late to school without a valid reason your parents will receive a letter warning about the legal consequences of persistent lateness. Persistent lateness to school will result in parents/carers being warned and then issued with Fixed Penalty Notices involving a fine.

Transition day – Thursday 11th July • Arrive at 8.55am for a 9am start – meet in the Hall • Students will be provided with a snack for break and lunch • Finish at 2.45pm
Lockers • Student lockers will be available for students to hire for the year • Students will be responsible for looking after the locker and ensuring it is left in a good condition at the end of the year • Miss L Nethercott will send a parent letter detailing how parents and carers can pre-order a student locker for their child, prior to September
