  1. We have been working at Missionsstugan, which means “the mission house”. The name means that all the money from the second-hand shop goes to those who need it. Missionsstugan get the clothes from people in Jakobstad and its neighborhood for free. Clothes in a good condition are put into the store for sale, others are packed into bags and sent to the recycling point Ekorosk. About 4 times a year volunteers are packing a big lorry full with clothes to be sent to the Baltic countries. At missionstugan we packed clothes, sorted clothes and cleaned the store. The volunteer workers were very friendly and it was nice to work with them.
