Leads are lists of potential clients or customers who have expressed an interest in your type of product or service. Manufacturers & suppliers often purchase these lists. These lists are valuable because they reduce your need to go out and find your target customers. Step 1: Browse the various leads list generation services available online. Determine how each service gets its leads. For instance, does the service gather contact information from visitors to a certain website or does it get data from credit bureaus? It is important to determine the information source so that you can evaluate whether or not the leads are valuable, current, and authentic. Check for a "Data Quality" or similarly named page on the service's website to find out more about its data collection methods. Step 2: Search each leads list generation service you're interested in buying from on the better business website. Check to see if it's had a history of complaints regarding the quality of leads offered. Step 3: Determine the prices for each service to assure it fits into your small business budget. Select a service or services based on your research and establish an account with the service.
