And, the best part about tiles is that they are easy on maintenance. Enlisted are a few do’s and don’ts for tile care: The Do’s • Removing dust before you clean tiles is very important. That can easily be done by vacuuming or sweeping. • In case you use certain cleaning agents, test them on a small area before you actually go for full application. • Make sure you rinse the entire area with water after using a cleaning agent to make sure that there is no residue left. • In case a tile is damaged or broken, make sure to contact the relevant person rather than trying a hand yourself. The Don’ts • For routine cleaning, do not use cleaning agents containing acids or bleach as they can damage the texture of the tiles. • Wax based or oil based cleaners should also be avoided for your tile maintenance. • While cleaning your tiles, make sure you do not use any harsh aids containing steel or any metal since they can damage the tiles. • Avoid using cleaning agents with color.
