  1. IELTS Exam 2020-21: Some Useful Tips to Ace the Speaking Part

  2. Introduction The IELTS exam is some of the major English language exams that you need to get through to secure admission in universities/colleges in English speaking nations. The IELTS exam provides a precise assessment by judging a candidate on four different English skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. As you all know, acing every section in the IELTS Singapore exam is necessary, but today we will talk particularly about the speaking section of the exam. Experts believe that acing the speaking part of the IELTS test requires you to follow some tips along with proper preparation. In the following paragraph, we will discuss the Speaking part first and will take you to the tips. Make sure to read it till the end.

  3. IELTS Speaking Test - What to expect? The IELTS speaking test is a personal face-to-face interview with an examiner that tests you with your English speaking skills and nothing else. In the very first part of the test, the examiner will ask your regular questions relating to your home, institutions you work for, or study. It is because with these questions the examiner tends to comfort the candidate in the exam hall. It would be best if you sit back and relax a little and answer all the questions with a smile on your face. Remember, fluent speaking doesn't mean speaking fast and answering in a way you've memorized. You should understand that they can catch you as soon as you start delivering memorized answers. Also, it will hamper your score, so, avoid it as much as possible.

  4. Speaking part 2 needs you to talk about a topic for 1 to 2 minutes. You will be given a minute to plan your answer and make notes if needed. Experts of IELTS exam Singapore advise referring to the notes when you're speaking. This will keep you focused on the topic and prevents distraction from the topic. If you haven't tried this, make sure to give it a try next time you sit in the IELTS test Singapore. However, Speaking Part 3 is a bit formal as you have to discuss worldwide issues and different topics with the examiner. So, you need to be more careful in this part as it can get tricky sometimes. You will be asked different types of questions that might need solid vocabulary and grammar. In this section, you can show your speaking skills in an actual manner. Remember, if you ace this part, there are possibilities that you can score higher bands in the speaking section of the IELTS exam Singapore.

  5. Tips to Do Well in the Speaking Part of the IELTS Exam 1. Make sure you talk as much as you can because this is what the examiner wants from you.   2. Talk as fluent as you can.
