SAT Exam and Its Different Sections

SAT in Singapore is taken by students who wish to get admission in the colleges of the United States to pursue their undergraduate programs. It takes place 7 times a year for students in the United States and 6 times for International students. The exam takes place in January, May, June, October, November, and December for both U.S and international students. However, the SAT exam in March takes place for the students in the U.S only.

  3. Mathematics Section • The total duration of the SAT exam in Singapore and other locations is 3 hours and 45 minutes. The mathematics section in the exam is also known as quantitative or the calculation section. This section further is subdivided into three sections - two of which are allotted 25 minutes and the third section is a 20-minute test. Majority of the test consists of multiple choice questions. They include advanced math, triangles, decimals, and percentages.   4. Critical Reading Section • This section is also subdivided into three sections that consist of two 25 minutes long test and one 20 minutes test. This section checks a students’ understanding ability of both long and short passages.
