Education is a Unique Setting for UD Assessment • The need for Education assessment ranges across Pre-school, K-12, Post-secondary, Adult & Continuing • On higher education campuses, they are mini-cities with the need for UD across all types of functions (even playgrounds, museums, - maybe not factories….) • Plus, the specialized functions of learning.
Types of Assessment Targets in Ed • Physical Spaces: yards buildings • Information Presentation: unidirectional and all topics and media • Learning Environment: (bi or multi-directional interaction) & conventional, new, and highly exploratory instructional strategies.
