Introduction In my Talent 21 project I’m trying to understand how ancient people impacted our lives in todays society.
Glacier age • They had animals that we don’t have today for example the Mammoth. • The mammoth is now instinct.
Early Man • Early man were the first to make tools. For example they used them to hunt down there animals. They also used it to protect them selves. For example if someone threatens them they can protect them selves.
Early farmers • Early farmers invented the plow. The plow was used to pick up soil to help them with farming. • They also advanced by using the bronze-tip plow.
Mesopotamia • In Mesopotamia people built there houses out of mud bricks. In the very middle of all the mud brick houses was the Ziggurat which was where the king and higher level people lived like, priest, and his family.
Egypt • In ancient Egypt they had a special building called a pyramid. The pyramid was used to keep the dead of wealthy people and rulers. They believed that after you died you would be in an after life.
Greece • In ancient Greece about 444 B.C there is a temple called “ The Temple of Poseidon” which over looks Cape Sounion on the Aegean Sea.
Rome • Ancient Rome had Latin villages on seven high hills. • Other people flourished in regions. Living in the north of the Latin villages.
Conclusion I have learned that ancient people have impacted our lives, by building things that we build today. For example they built dames , buildings, and more. They also impacted us by surviving the way they did. For example they hunted and made things to hunt.
