What are the opportunities and/or barriers to using your local student information system? How do you define services delivered/enrolled? What do you think contributes to program strength/success? Technical Assistance Site Visits Purpose- • Meet staff and see current programs • Begin creating grantee profiles for web and networking • Identify technical assistance • Introduce action planning process for year 2
Sample Site Visit Agenda Timing • 15 minutes Introductions (DPI and key district staff) • 30 minutes Overview of local InSPIRE program and activities • 30 minutes Federal performance measures and site implementation plan • 30 minutes Technical assistance and professional development needs • 90 minutes Break, Travel and Program visit • 3 hours and 15 minutes Who Might Attend? • InSPIRE Project Coordinator • District staff from various buildings/program components • Community partners/coalition members • Program student(s) What to prepare? • Bring your grant application/work plan • Local program information and materials (recruitment, orientation, etc.) • Any forms for intake, referral and tracking program services and student progress currently in use • Reports or data that you collect on program effectiveness
