Topics • Realtime system design: Finite state machine: word problem to state diagram; function pointers in a table-driven approach • Realtime system scheduling: Rate monotonic scheduling; earliest deadline scheduling • Designing solutions in C: command line arguments, printf, scanf, functions with parameters (in and out), simple logic • Pointer and address variables in C: trace a program and specify output and intermediate values B.Ramamurthy
