Your assignment will be to choose 2 of 3 assignments. • If you choose Romanticism, you will write a poem or short story and illustrate it: your topics are about nature, love or a strong emotion or weirdness or horror. • If you choose Realism, you will design a black and white photo essay of something industrial (made by machine) 10 photos with a theme. The theme is your title. • If you choose Impressionism, you will paint or draw with a landscape impressionist style

  3. Romanticism • This is an artistic movement in books, songs, paintings and music that is a reaction to the Enlightenment and Rational Thinking. Also anti Industrial Revolution and machines. • The focus is on: Wildness! Big Emotions! Love or Hate or Envy or Unrequited Love! Weirdness and Horror! Nature! Inspired by the past Imagination
