No – all nonprofit organizations located within Greater Louisville are encouraged to apply. Great Louisville is defined as Bullitt, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby & Spencer counties in Kentucky and Clark, Floyd & Harrison counties in Indiana. Is my nonprofit organization required to be art-based? No – those organizations that are not art-based should propose a project that will significantly impact arts & culture in Greater Louisville. If my project is selected, will I receive any funds to support the project? No monetary funding will be provided for selected projects. Project proposals that come with associated costs should include a funding plan in the application. Cultivating sponsorships or raising funds for an event is considered a project in and of itself. How much involvement should I have in the project? Organizations should provide a primary point of contact to work directly with the NeXt! Consulting Team. While interaction varies with each project, you should plan to meet or be in contact with your Team at least once a month.
