  2. glory The distinctive feature of the presence of GOD, often compared to power, weight or brightness. Scripture affirms that GOD’s glory is made known through his work of creation, his acts of intervention in history and supremely in the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  3. NAU Exodus 15:11 "Who is like You among the gods, O LORD? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders?

  4. How important is GOD to you?

  5. Isaiah 42:12 (NASB) 12 Let them give glory to the LORD And declare His praise in the coastlands.

  6. It is dangerous when we fail to give GOD the Glory due His Name

  7. Acts 12:22-23(NASB) 22 The people kept crying out, “The voice of a god and not of a man!” 23 And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give GOD the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died.

  18. 7 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. 8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory of His name; Bring an offering and come into His courts. 9 Worship the LORD in holy attire; Tremble before Him, all the earth.

  19. 1 Chronicles 16:23-29(NASB) 23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. 24 Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.

  20. 25 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods. 26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens.

  21. 27 Splendor and majesty are before Him, Strength and joy are in His place. 28 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

  22. 29 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His Name; Bring an offering, and come before Him; Worship the LORD in holy array.

  23. The more we give GOD the Glory the more we will see GOD move in bringing His promises to pass
