Welcome to the London Trip! Your child will be well looked after by Mrs. Wightman, Mrs. Bradley, Mr. Callaway, Mrs. Bright, Mrs. Boardman, and Miss Parsons, along with the tour rep. Make sure to bring a cushion, rucksack, packed lunch, disposable camera, waterproof coat, books, overnight bag, teddy, and more. No electronic equipment or aerosols are allowed. The journey will involve multiple stops, and we will stay at the Royal National Hotel. After breakfast, we'll visit the Tower of London, have a packed lunch, and go on a tour of London, including Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. The journey home will include a tea stop and we aim to return before midnight. Further information about adults, transportation, spending money, and safety will be provided.

The Journey • We will be aiming to leave school at 7:30am • Therefore, we would like everyone to be in the school carpark by 7.15am Don’t let the bus go without you!
The journey is very long and we are governed by the amount of time the driver is allowed to drive without a break. We will have several toilet and eating stops at service stations. Children have to stay with designated adult. Food and drink is not allowed on the coach.
The Royal National Hotel When we arrive in London we will go straight to the hotel to settle in and drop off our luggage.
Whilst in London we will not be using public transport and will remain on our coach. The driver and tour company representative stay with us.
Please remember to bring sweets and drinks for the show. These must be kept in a rucksack separate from packed lunch. Do not bring ‘noisy’ food such as Doritos! Hotel Room • We will get to the hotel very late in the evening and children will not be in their room for very long – just to sleep. • Children will have the opportunity to pick who they would like to share a room with but this may need to change. • Kettles and TV remotes are removed before children enter their rooms. • All children are made aware as to when they can open their door.
After a breakfast provided by the hotel we will head for a the Tower of London.

After eating a packed lunch, provided by the tour company, we will head for a tour of London in our coach. We usually get out to see if the Queen is at home at Buckingham Palace.
In the afternoon we will visit the Houses of Parliament.
The long journey home begins during rush hour! We will stop off for tea along the way, and hope to return back to school before midnight! We will send a text to confirm the time when we are closer to home as this will depending upon traffic and the driver’s break times!
Further Information • 6 adults + tour rep and driver • We travel by private coach throughout our trip. • £20 spending money – split into two £5 notes, and one £10 note pleasebring to school with forms by Wednesday 10th April. Children may bring up to £10 more but they will be responsible for this themselves. • We’ll send a text when we are about half an hour away from home to confirm time back at school and before this if not running to schedule! • Children will be perfectly safe with us, and they will all have a great time!
