  1. Using PowerPointFeature #1: The comment box With PowerPoint, you can insert a comment box, just like Excel! Just choose Comment from the Insert menu, type some text, and put it wherever you like! However, the comment box in PowerPoint doesn’t appear and hide like it does in Excel. But you are able to connect it with something...

  2. Feature #2: Action Settings With PowerPoint, you can connect anything with a specific action (not just the comment box!). For example, you can hyperlink to the next slide with the click of the mouse (click here!) This message is unimportant… just testing to see if you clicked.

  3. To do this magnificent feat, simply put something onto your slide. In this case, let’s use a text box. Now, just right-click with your mouse inside the text box, and select Action Settings from the list.

  4. The tabs at the top tell you whether the action performed will require a click of the mouse, or just the movement of the mouse over the text box. You can select the kind of action you want performed. For example, you can Hyperlink to a web page, Run a program, or Play a sound!

  5. Feature #3: Shadows To create a shadow, simply highlight the text, and click on the S icon located next to the icon for Underlining. This is shadowing.
