Session Objectives • To introduce format of training • To understand participants’ aims • Clarify what will and won’t be covered • To formulate ground rules • To deal with any housekeeping issues
Workshop Objectives By the end of the workshop, participants will have: • Learned how to undertake a strategic planning process, and know the activities related to the strategic planning cycle • Been introduced to an Outcome Mapping approach to planning • Learned how to undertake an analysis of their context and stakeholders • Drafted an initial action plan for engaging effectively with stakeholders in their institution, and wider afield • Learned how to monitor progress, and considered methods for gathering evidence • Developed a communication plan for their stakeholder community
