11"Aaron shall bring the bull for his own sin offering to make atonement for himself and his household, and he is to slaughter the bull for his own sin offering. 12He is to take a censer full of burning coals from the altar before the LORD and two handfuls of finely ground fragrant incense and take them behind the curtain. 13He is to put the incense on the fire before the LORD, and the smoke of the incense will conceal the atonement cover above the Testimony, so that he will not die. (Leviticus 16)

What peacemaking looks like • 16Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. • 17Do not repay anyone evil for evil.Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. • 18If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. • 19Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. • 20On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." • 21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Thank God for his written Word to us Blessed are the Peacemakers – They will be called Children of God “Living peaceably is catching”

18Peter also standing by the fire, warming himself. 26One of the servants challenged him, "Didn't I see you with [Jesus]?" 27Peter denied it, and at that moment a cock began to crow. (John 18) 9They saw a fire of burning coals with fish on it, and some bread. 12Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." 15When they had finished eating, Jesus said, "Simon, do you truly love me?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs.“ (John 21)
