  3. What is Meaning of Ashwamedha? • “Ashwa” Evil Instincts • “Medha” signify uprooting • Process of uprooting evils in human beings. • In olden times territories are conquered, now by participation in Ashwamedha let us conquer others’ mind by true love and affection

  7. How Ashwamedha performed? • It is large scale sacred fire ceremony • Ritualistic fires are lit in special Altar called Agnikund,We shall have 252 Agnikunda • Wood and various herbs are offered in fire • Specific mantras are recited.
