  4. Example:Extracting Income by Zipcode • Get the proper CD Loaded. • Browse by using “Quick Reference” option. • When you’ve found what you want back up to “Extract” option. • Extract Menu • 1. Select Item • 2. Select Record • 3. Add Labels • 8. Extract to a file

  6. 2. Select Records S * SAC1 (items with “*” can be selected in ranges) R min 90001 max 91803 Press “escape” to move back up a level.

  7. 3. Add Labels Select SAC1 -- ANPSADPI

  8. 8. Extract to a File Place a PC formatted file in drive a: Menu 1. .dbf 2. .prn 3. .sdf 4. .txt 5. ___ Dry run to estimate file size. Give a full path name, but not extension: a:\incbyzip Gives incbyzip.dbf
