INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND PROJECTS IN OUR PRESCHOOL • e-Twinning Projects: Christmas Greeting Cards, European Calendar, Celebrate with e-Twinning, Murali, EL2EL, Learn&Play&Thinkoutsidetheclassroom, StoryCalendar • Erasmus+ (KA1) project: Using our senses to learn about the world (June 1st 2014 - May 31th2014) • Erasmus+ (KA2) project: Early Learn to Learn Environment- EL2LE (September 1st 2014 - August 31th 2014) • Erasmus+ (KA1) project: Different approaches to creative teaching in early and pre-school age children (June 5th 2017 - June 4th 2019) • Erasmus+ (KA2) project: Moving and Learning Outside- MLO (October 15th 2017- April 14th2020)

OUR PRESCHOOL • MatijaGubec preschool is located in the southwestern part of Zagreb • 4 separated facilities - cca. 400 children - 19 groups aged 1-7; • 2 groups ofearlylearningenglish program • Our daily program is organized from 6:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. depending on children's and parents’ needs

  7. EMPLOYEES • preschool teachers – 38 • Professional teamand principle– 5(professional team: pedagogist, speech therapist, psychologist and health care manager) • support staff – 20 (accounting department, cleaners, kitchen staff, custodians...)

EDUCATIONAL APPROACH • - individual approach • - work in small groups • - planning on daily, weekly and monthly basis • - we use the project planning method • - environment – works as a third teacher • - cooperation and partnership with parents and local community • - the program is guided primarily by children's achievements, their needs, interests and wishes
