2. Why End Times This presentation discusses some of the major signs signifying the return of Jesus (pbuh)

3. Signs of the Approach of the Hour The following signs will be discussed Gog and Magog The Antichrist The Beast of the Earth The return of Jesus I will look at similarities between the signs within the Bible and Qur�an. I have attempted an interpretation of verses from the Qur�an, Hadith and Bible using current interpretations and translations. Allah knows best with regards the truth.

Gog and Magog Gog and Magog (Yajuj and Majuj) in the Qur�an �� Gog and Magog are causing corruption in the land.� [Ali, 1999 Surah al-Kahf, verse 94] The prophet Zulqurnain builds a barrier This is a mercy from my Lord. But when my Lord�s promise comes to pass, He will crush it flat. The promise of my Lord is surely true. [Ali, 1999 Surah Al-Kahf, verse 98] Further on, we read; When Gog and Magog are let loose and rush down from every slope, and the True Promise is very close, the eyes of those who disbelieved will be transfixed: �Alas for us! We were unmindful of this! No, rather we were definitely wrongdoers.� [Ali, 1999 Surah Al-Anbiya�, verses 96-97],

Imran N Hosein & Ahmadiyya movement Hosein and Ahamadiyya believe that the Gog and Magog are Europeans The opinion of this writer, and Allah Knows best, is that the original Gog and Magog are definitely located somewhere within the ranks of such European Jews. Gog and Magog overturned Christian European civilization and transformed it into the present godless society � and established the Zionist movement and the State of Israel�. [Lethbridge 1975]. The statues do not represent heroes or the British people. Ahmadiyya Movement also feel that wealth, food, weapons of mass destruction are within control of the Gog and Magog (western powers).

Gog and Magog Conclusion Sahih Muslim Hadith narrated by An-Nawwas ibn Sam�an (7015) supports Yahya�s conclusion �It will be under such conditions that Allah will reveal to Jesus these words; I have brought forth from among My servants such people against whom none will be able to fight; you take these people safely to Tur, and then Allah will send Gog and Magog and they will swarm down from every slope. The first of them will pass the lake of Tiberias and drink out of it. And when the last of them passes, he will say; There was no water here � This suggests the Gog and Magog will be released after Jesus therefore I disagree with the Ahmadiyya�s and Hosein�s conclusions. In my opinion, Gog and Magog have not yet been released. Referring back to the Qur�an, we understand that all people will repent once the Gog and Magog are released. This has not happened yet either; When Gog and Magog are let loose and rush down from every slope, and the True Promise is very close, the eyes of those who disbelieved will be transfixed: �Alas for us! We were unmindful of this! No, rather we were definitely wrongdoers.� [Ali, 1999 Surah Al-Anbiya�, verses 96-97],

Gog and Magog - Biblical Prophecy Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Ma�-gog, the chief prince of Me�-shech and Tu�-bal, and prophecy against him, And say, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Me�-shech and Tu�-bal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, � Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Is-ra-el which prophesised in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? � Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Is�-ra-el, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. � [Book of Ezekiel verses 38 to 39]

9. Gog and Magog - Hadith Prophecy The Biblical prophecy is similar to Muslim prophecy; � Jesus and his companions will then be besieged here (at Tur, and they will be so hard pressed) that the head of the ox will be dearer to them than one hundred dinars. Allah's Apostle (pbuh), Jesus, and his companions will supplicate Allah, Who will send to them insects (which will attack their necks) and in the morning they would perish as one single person. Allah's Apostle (pbuh), Jesus, and his companions, then come down to Earth and they will not find on Earth as much space as a single span that is not filled with putrefaction and stench. Allah's Apostle (pbuh), Jesus, and his companions will then beseech Allah who will send birds whose necks would be like those of Bactrian camels and they will carry them away and throw them where Allah wills. [Sahih Muslim Hadith narrated by An-Nawwas Ibn Sam�an 7015] Both Bible and Islamic Hadith suggest hooks (scorpion type insects) in the upper neck (jaw) region.

10. Antichrist - Bible For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains [the Holy Spirit] will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one [Antichrist] will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one [Antichrist] is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs [miracles], and lying wonders (II Thessalonians 2:7-9)

11. Antichrist - Hadith Both the Bible and Hadith suggest Jesus will destroy the Antichrist and that the Antichrist will be able to perform miracles and fake wonders; � Satan will cry: The Dajjal (Antichrist) has taken your place among your families. They will then come out, but it will be of no avail. When they reach Syria, he will come out while they are still preparing themselves for battle, drawing up the ranks. Certainly, the time of prayer will come and then Jesus (peace be upon him), son of Mary will descend and lead them in prayer. When the enemy of Allah see him (Jesus), it will (disappear) just as salt dissolves in water and if he (Jesus) were not to confront them at all, even then it would dissolve completely. Allah would kill them by his hand and he would show them their blood on his lance (the lance of Jesus Christ). [Sahih Muslim, Hadith 6924 narrated by Abu Hurayrah]

12. Antichrist - hadith Antichrist will be considered to have power to give the illusion of water and fire as narrated in Sahih Al Bukhari [92:7130] The Prophet (pbuh) said Ad-Dajjal would have water and fire with him; (what would seem to be) fire, would be cold water and (what would seem to be) water, would be fire. Perhaps we are already seeing fake wonders such as 911 on TV; How can planes not be repelled by buildings constructed with steel and concrete, when birds are able to indent planes after a collision?

13. Antichrist - Discussion Antichrist�s power over rain and crops in Hadith; Thereupon he (pbuh)�said: Like cloud driven by the wind. He will come to the people and invite them (to a wrong religion); they will affirm their faith in him and respond to him. He will then give a command to the sky: there will be rainfall upon the Earth and it will grow crops. Then in the evening, their pasturing animals will come to them with their humps very high, their udders full of milk and their flanks distended. He will then come to another people and invite them. But they will reject him so he will go away from them; they will have a drought and nothing will be left with them in the form of wealth. He will then walk through the desert and say to it: Bring forth your treasures. The treasures will come out and gather before him like a swarm of bees. [Muslim 7015, narrated by An-Nawwas ibn Sam�an] Ahmadiyya movement suggest that a people already exist that can do this. A people belonging to a system [2006-2008 Chapter 18, Sign 3]

14. Commercial applications in order to locate ores or fuel under the ground. Send bolts of lightening to a point causing devastation. Mind control, anxiety, calm or apathetic state depending on frequency as our minds influenced by magnetism [Begich 2006]

15. Antichrist Reiterate the earlier hadith; He will then give a command to the sky: there will be rainfall upon the Earth and it will grow crops. Perhaps man is at the brink of achieving the power Allah gave to Solomon [Ali, 1999 Surah 34, verse 12] And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.

16. The Beast of the Earth Here are verses pertaining to the Beast in the Bible and Qur�an. I agree with the Bible that the Beast is a separate entity to the Antichrist; Bible "Then I saw another beast coming up out of the Earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast [the Antichrist] in his presence, and causes the Earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast [the Antichrist], whose deadly [head] wound was healed." (Rev 13:11-12) According to Christians the 2 horns like a lamb suggest Judo-Christian symbols. The dragon represents Satan. The Qur�an states the following; Qur�an And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. [Surah 27 An-Naml, verse 82]

17. The Beast of the Earth Here is a Hadith pertaining to the Beast; The prophet (pbuh) said, "The Beast of the Earth will emerge, and will have with it the rod of Moses and the ring of Solomon." It was also reported that he said, "(The Beast) will destroy the noses of the unbelievers with the ring, - so that people seated around one table will begin to address one another with the words "O Believer!" or "O Unbeliever!" (i.e. everyone's status will become clear). [Narrated by Abu Hurairah in Ibn Majah.] The Hadith quote seems to confirm exactly what the 2 horns of the lamb will be; the staff of Moses and ring of Solomon. The Judo-Christian symbols mentioned on the previous slide. Also within the Bible He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name [Rev 13:16-17]. Muslims believe the beast will use the rod to mark a believer while the ring will be used to mark non believers. In the Christian community it is suggested that the mark will be for buying and selling.

18. Jesus - Return Both Muslims and Christians await the return of Jesus; Qur�an, Surah 43 Az-Zukhruf, verse 61 And Jesus shall be a Sign for the coming of the Hour of Judgment; Hadith narrated by An-Nawwas Ibn sam�an (ra) that the Prophet (pbuh) said; � It will be at this very time that Allah will send Christ, son of Mary. He will descend at the white minaret on the eastern side of Damascus, wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels. When he lowers his head, there will fall beads of perspiration from his head and when he raises it up, beads like pearls will scatter from it. Every non-believer who smells the odor of his body will die and his breath will reach as far as he is able to see. He will then search for him (Dajjal) until he catches hold of him at the gate of Ludd and kills him. Then a people whom Allah had protected will come to Jesus, son of Mary, and he will wipe their faces and inform them of their ranks in Paradise. [Sahih Muslim, Book 40, No. 7015]

19. Jesus - Return Bible "Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him,� even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the Earth will mourn because of Him . . ." (Rev 1:7)

20. Thoughts There are similarities between the scriptures with regards major signs of End Times but a thorough investigation necessary. Some believe the similarities result because the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) plagiarised previous scriptures I disagree, the Science within the Qur�an disclosing relativity of time, the development of an embryo, the unified equation of the universe as in string theory and parallel dimensions bear witness that the Qur�an was revealed by a higher intelligence. Such scientific facts are absent from the bible. Sometimes Scientific theories are incorrect but the Qur�an can be used to guide Science when there are contradictions. Some Christians believe the Quran was disclosed by Antichrist. Why would Antichrist encourage people to be kind to parents, children, not murder female infants, give charity, be just to orphans, be just to non Muslims even if you have to stand against Muslims etc. etc.?

21. End Times We all experience an End Time � Death Time for repentance is over when we are dead. [Surah An-Naba 78, Verse 40] Verily, We have warned you Of a Penalty near � The Day when man will See (the Deeds) which His hands have sent forth, And the Unbeliever will say, �Woe unto me! Would that I were (mere) dust!� We must ask forgiveness and do good as we do not know when we may die in an accident or otherwise.

22. End Time Advice In Sahih Bukhari hadith, Ibn Umar narrates [Khan 1997 92-7077]; �Do not renegade as disbelievers (revert to disbelief) after me by striking (cutting) the necks of one another.� This suggests we avoid killing at all costs otherwise we become disbelievers. This is vital when we consider the confusion in the world; Sunnis are believed to be killing Shia�s and vice versa. Perhaps it is a 3rd party planting bombs and so we must practice restraint. The final hadith I would like to quote is narrated by Abu Sa�id Al-Khudri [Khan 1997 92-7088]; �There will come a time when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep which he will take to the tops of mountains and the places of rainfall so as to flee with his religion from Al-Fitan (trials and afflictions). This does not suggest we race the west with regards weapons of mass destruction but live peacefully and in harmony with nature.
