School Mission Insha’ Allah to create an Islamic environment in which we can teach our children the fundamentals of Islam and how to implement these fundamentals in their daily lives based on Allah’s book “Al-Quran” and His Messenger’s authentic sunnah in accordance with the understanding and practice of the righteous salaf (the sahabah and their true followers)
School Goals Insha’ Allah the mission statement will be achieved using the following goals: • Teach each student how to read, memorize, and develop high level understanding of the Quran (Quran) • Teach each student the fundamentals of the Arabic Language in order to read the Quran properly (Arabic Language) • Teach each student Islam basic fundamentals which includes issues related to (Islamic Studies) • Aqeedah (Islamic Belief) • Fiqah (Islamic Understanding) • Islamic Manners • Seerah (Life of Prophets) • Islamic History and current events as they relate to Islam
School Structure Since this is only a one day a week school the following setup will be followed: • School is structured for kids between the age of 4 to 18 years old • School will be on Sunday starting at 9:30am and ending at the conclusion of Salat ath-thuher around 1:15pm • Teachers must be present no later than 9:15am. • School will have student assembly between 9:30am to 9:45am. • School will have three 50 min periods to cover Quran, Arabic Language, and Islamic Studies. • Students will get lunch/break period from 11:25am to 11:55am. • School will have the following level • Level (1) Boys & Girls ages 5 to 7 years old • Level (2) Boys & Girls ages 8 to 10 years old • Level (3) Boys & Girls ages 8 to 10 years old advanced and 11 to 12 years old Girls • Level (4) Girls ages 13 to 18 • Level (4) Boys ages 11 to 18 • The Principal and Teachers will have flexibility to move a student up or down a Level depending upon comprehension and satisfaction of each Level’s stated goals. • Teachers will have the flexibility to incorporate a variety of educational tools to help students achieve goals for each level. These tools like coloring, drawing, projects, computer, games, etc. must fit within the agreed curriculum. • Lunch break will be in the courtyard of ICT. There will be no eating inside classes and/or prayer area.
