Goals and Objectives • Student’s will be able to critique performance pieces. • Students will be able to analyze and identify styles of music. • Students will be able to identify instruments and their families.
Standards • Standard 1.1 (Aesthetics) – creation and responses to dance, music, theater, and visual art. • Standard 1.4 All students will demonstrate knowledge of the process of critique.
Activities • Students will discuss and complete worksheet about the four families of instruments. • Students will watch themselves perform on video and critique their performance. • Students will listen to various styles of music adding movement using ribbon sticks.
