  1. Rockford RiverHawks 2008 Recap • The RiverHawks shattered their attendance record in 2008. They drew138,234 fans, an improvement of more than 25,000 fans from 2007. • On July 3rd, the ‘Hawks had 6,588 fans come through the gates, a new franchise record and the fourth-largest crowd in Frontier League history! • The RiverHawks raised more than $125,000 in charities to bring their 3-year total to over $400,000!! • Finished 48-48 in 2008 to improve their streak of above .500 baseball or better to seven years. • Once again providing Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin THE BEST AFFORDABLE FAMILY FUN ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!

Road Ranger Stadium • The Rockford RiverHawks play in the premier sports complex in Northern Illinois • The new stadium has a seating capacity of 3,279 including suites, terrace boxes, and picnic areas. • The stadium features • State-of-the-art scoreboard with full video capabilities. • Every seat is a full box seat, with chairbacks, armrests and cupholders. • Wide, open-air concourses. • Team souvenir store • Children’s play area • Beach Club Grill with a 300-person capacity • Voted Rockford’s best concessions by readers of Rockford Register Star • The entrance to the facility is less than ¼ mile from the Riverside exit on 1-90. • The field itself is visible from 1-90.

  5. Rockford RiverHawks • The RiverHawks hosted more than 300 games in 2008. In addition to their games, the RiverHawks hosted Rockford College’s entire home schedule, NCAA postseason baseball, a high-school supersectional and many other amateur tournaments. About 200,000 total fans watched games at the stadium in 2008. • The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, one of the most successful leagues in all independent minor-league baseball. Teams are located in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. The league expanded to 12 teams in 2007 and has plans for further expansion before the end of the decade. League members include cities in suburban Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. Seven new stadiums have opened in the last seven years. • The Riverhawks are partly-owned and led by local businessmen Dave Ciarrachi and Kurt Carlson. • The RiverHawks average more than 2,700 fans per game.
