A new technique to improve expected AEP estimation in very complex terrain

Presenting a new technique for improved expected AEP estimation in challenging terrains at the 24th ASME Wind Energy Symposium. Explore the use of CFD wind field modeling and WindSim for accurate wind profiles. Discussing operational conditions, anemometers data, and power curve customization. Future work includes utilizing the latest WindSim version for refined terrain modeling and developing methods for personalized power curve adjustments based on 3D wind field data.
