  1. Know the differences between the different LED Monitor Panels: When buying screen panels for your computer, there are many people who simply throw themselves by the names you know or sound, but the technologies of the panels of the current monitors vary greatly from each other. Therefore, we have decided to create this small guide to help you know all the technologies that use the panels of the LED monitors, in a way as simple as possible so that it is understandable by all. The LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) technology consists of glass panels among which are thousands of liquid crystals that react to light. There are several types of LCD panels whose difference lies precisely in how these thousands of liquid crystals are placed. In the following image, we can see it graphically in a very clear way. Now we are going to study the different types of LCD panels that currently exist. TN panels (LED-TN): In the TN (or Twisted Nematic) panels, the liquid crystals are placed in an arrangement perpendicular to the glass panels, that is, at 90º. Locating them in this way allows the crystals to have a lot of space to move among themselves, and in this way reacts very quickly to sudden changes in lighting, and therefore this type of panel has the best response time. This is ideal for action movies or soccer games, where the focus of the camera changes abruptly. Even in medical device manufacturers have started using this type of screen panels. VA panels (LED-VA): In the VA (or Vertical Alignment) panels, the liquid crystals are placed in a parallel arrangement to the video panels so that these crystals are much closer together. This produces that there is practically no leakage of light, with the consequent improvement of the quality of the image, but nevertheless, the response time goes up a lot given the little space they have to move the crystals. IPS panels (LED-IPS): In the IPS (or In-Plane Switching) panels the crystals are arranged in parallel as in the VA panels. However, IPS panels offer greater viewing angles and response times have been improved. Therefore, these types of screens are usually chosen for video games or action movies. PLS panels (LED-PLS) The PLS (or Plane to Line Switching) panels have the most advanced technology on the LCD screen market. The liquid crystals inside the panel are also placed in an arrangement parallel to the glass panels as in the previous two types of panels.
