What does this mean? • “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations”
Whose goals are these? • Membership growth • Membership Retention • Program • Money • Trained Volunteers
No Church Home • 50-60% of America does NOT have a church home • The Lord rejoices more over the return of one lost soul than a thousand committee meetings!

Youth Agencies Provide the Children and Young Families • The reason Parents sign their Children up for Scouting is for the VALUES • The Church provides the LEADERSHIP
Ingredients for Success • Both sides must clearly understand the chartered organization or sponsorship agreement before it is signed. • The Youth Agencies should use as many congregational volunteers as is feasible. • The congregation must“invest” their best kid person to be the leader
Ingredients for Success • All volunteers must be trained by the local council • Religious emblems must be promoted by the unit leader • Congregations must offer a religious emblems class

Religious Emblems Class • Your Troop leader promotes the Religious Emblems of all faiths. • Your congregation offers a class to earn the P.R.A.Y. award.
Growing Your Congregation • If your Cub Scout Pack has 10 families • 50% may not have a church home • That means 5 young families are pre-qualified as looking for values for their children • That means 5 pre-qualified families are already in your building who don’t have a church home
Growing Your Congregation • If your American Heritage Girls Troop has 10 families • 50% may not have a church home • That means 5 young families are pre-qualified as looking for values for their children • That means 5 pre-qualified families are already in your building who don’t have a church home

Growing Your Congregation • If your congregation offers a class to earn the P.R.A.Y. award • If you invest your second best kid person to help teach the class • If you include the Adult Mentor Program you are discipling the family • You can have 10 young families meeting and interacting with your church members
