SPARK: A Reflection on Developing a District Math Curriculum South Bend Community Schools Hosted on: Dr. Marilyn Nash Math Curriculum Facilitator K12
Welcome The 1939 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, The Wizard of Oz, is about Dorothy who meets three other characters along her way to the Emerald City where they hope to find their treasures. Their companionship and team efforts are the foundation for the success of their journey along the Yellow Brick Road. The strengths and obstacles of these four characters in the movie are similar to the journey of developing a district math curriculum.

TOOLS • Understanding CCRS through alignment tasks (i.e. Scrabble) • CCRS high priority standards in each unit • Unit resources: Summaries, Essential Questions, CCRS standards, outcomes, vocabulary, assessments, Catalog of Lessons and much more • Video guides/introductory interviews • Q & A Frequently Asked guide
