  3. Laika November 1957 In November 1957 the Russian Dog Laika became the first animal to orbit the Earth. Laika travelled in a space craft known as sputnik 2. See more abut sputnik on the next page

  4. 1957 Space-Probe Luna 2 crash landed into a moon it would of killed an astronaut. If one had been travelling in it/ It was ten years until another human visited the moon.
