Facts about Rosa Parks • Rosa Parks stood up for our rights. • She refused to give up her seat. • In comes the police • The Montgomery Bus Boycott began. • Blacks refused to ride the bus • The Boycott lasted 382 days.
The Change • December of 1956, Supreme Court ends bus segregation. • Civil Rights Movement begins • The Civil Rights Act of 1964 • We all share the same rights today
