Sepsis at Scope Challenge Above average numbers of deaths from sepsis in adults and then we completed an audit of compliance against national standards for recognition and response to sepsis – it showed we were not very good! Recognition of sepsis, timely administration of antibiotics and no policy to support this Outcome Change In October we launched the Sepsis care bundle policy in conjunction with an updated antibiotic policy. The Critical Care outreach Team have been delivering targeted teaching. In January we are going to undertake a compliance audit of the new policy and review our mortality associated with sepsis
