observations • Measurement shows • (1) parabolic behavior consistent with the prediction • (2) linear behavior (presumably) due to systematic errors • “uwg” configuration results more match “acgw” (or “agw”) predictions • “ugw” configuration results more match “aw” prediction • (which is confusing… : need to check the surface again) • “ugw” configuration shows larger polarization angle variations, that is, linear • components than “uwg”, implying a difference in the systematic error between • two configurations • This data set will serve as a reference for future tests future tests • “u” + blank glass + “wg” • “u” + blank glass + “gw” • “uwg”, “ugw”, “ubwg”, “ubgw” with tilting angle variations • Same tests with a dichroic (plastic) polarization sheet
