  2. Apple calls the ‘kill switch’ Activation Lock, and it will be standard on its devices, starting with iPhone 5s and 5c in which the lock was unveiled. This application will benefit the iPhone users in many ways. All one needs to do to lock or disable it is to go to the website, log in and deactivate. From there on the phone cannot be used

  3. Buying an iPhone requires spending of a lot of money, and if it is on contract, one may end up paying for it for about two years. If the phone is stolen, one incurs huge loss. This will mean that it will not have any value in the hands of a thief because it cannot be sold or used. This will discourage thieves from stealing iPhones leaving the user at peace of knowing that the phone is safe.
