  2. The market is now flooded with smartphones from different manufacturers and it may be tough making a decision of which to buy. There is tough competition in the market, which means that each manufacturer is trying to outdo the other. If you are stuck in making the decision of whether to buy the iPhone 6 when it is launched or the already existing Samsung S5, below is their comparison. iPhone 6 is yet to grace the market though it is expected soon. You may be wondering whether to wait for it or to go for the Samsung S5, which is available and has been popular since its launch.

  3. Design Information about the iPhone 6 is from rumors and leaks though from reliable sources. It is said that there will be two variants, a 5.5-inch and a 4.7-inch model. The 5.5-inch model will have a resolution of 960 x1704 and 416 ppi. The iPhone will have a screen made of Sapphire glass and therefore shutter proof. This makes it better at screen protection. The S5 has a 5.1-inch display with 1080 x 1920 resolution and 432 ppi giving better quality images.

  4. Processing capacity iPhone 6 will have a dual core CPU of 2 GHz and features an A8 chipset. This will be an improvement from the iPhone 5s A7. On the other hand, Samsung S5 has a quad core of 2.5 GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 and therefore more processing power. Both devices has RAM of 2GB and an internal memory of up to 128GB. iPhone 6 however does not have expandable memory and to get the maximum storage, one needs to buy the expensive variant of the phone. Samsung galaxy S5 on the other hand has internal memory of 16GB or 32GB memory and expandable memory of up to 128GB.

  5. Camera The iPhone 4.7-inch variant will have an 8MP camera based on iPhone 5S though there can be a surprise of a 16 MP camera, while the Samsung S5 has a 16MP camera. Operating system The iPhone 6 will run on iOS 8, which is the latest version of operating system from apple. Samsung S5 is on Android 4.4.3 which is less powerful than the iPhone.

  6. Price The Samsung is cheaper with a price of $650 for 16 GB model and $700 for 32 GB one. For the iPhone 6, the price is expected to be higher with the 4.7-inch variant going for $850. Overall, Samsung Galaxy S5 has more performance than the iPhone 6. However, the iPhone is coming in with more shock resistance and new operating system of iOS 8 which may attract more people. The decision on which to buy should be based on what you are looking for in a phone.
