  2. Introduction • Monitoring of float, charge and discharge currents in the presence of high AC ripple is now possible with Polytronics’ FACTSTARlll Float Current Monitor. • The FACTSTARlll can be installed easily without disruption of the battery string(s).

  3. Introduction • A built in microprocessor permits the FACTSTARlll to measure, calculate, store,display and download • Float Current • Ampere Hours • Cycle Counter • Temperature • String Status • Time • Alarm Conditions • Ripple.

Introduction • The FACTSTARlll will also predict impending thermal runaway, common charger malfunctions, open strings, and the end of battery life several months ahead of anticipated failure, allowing an orderly transition to a replacement string. • The FACTSTARlll is an excellent solution for emergency lighting and telecommunication systems.
