Innovative programs at MUSM Family Medicine Accelerated Track Program The Accelerated Track in Family Medicine (ACT-FM) program (1 of only 2 in the nation) allows for students interested in a career in Family Medicine the opportunity to complete their medical school coursework in an accelerated 3 year program of study. Currently offered in Savannah this program also gives preference for residency slots at our partner hospital-Memorial University Medical Center. Rural Training Track Residency Program Sandersville, Georgia The “rural training track” model is designed to give residents a broad, procedurally-based, hands-on experience in rural family medicine during residency.
