  1. Tracking studies of the Final Focus M. Alabau Pons, P. Bambade, A. Faus-Golfe LAL(Orsay) - IFIC(Valencia) 17 May 2005

  2. Optics studies (1): Tracking through the BDS Distribution of particles at the entrance of the BDS created with PLACET Obtained beam used to simulate the collision with GUINEA-PIG Beam tracked through the BDS with MAD x’ (μrad) x’ (μrad) x (μm) x (μm) y’ (μrad) y’ (μrad) y (μm) y (μm)

  3. Optics studies (2): Optical bandwidth Distribution of particles at the entrance of the BDS created with PLACET: •For the corresponding twiss parameters: y’ (μrad) x’ (μrad) for different central energies until ± 1% of the nominal energy (250GeV) y (μm) x (μm) •For a flat distribution with 0.1% of energy spread: 0.05% e (GeV)

  4. Optical bandwidth (official lattice, 20mrad) * *Luminosities normalized to the value obtained with Guinea-Pig for ideal beams

  5. Optical bandwidth (optimized parameters by J.Payet) * *Luminosities normalized to the value obtained with Guinea-Pig for ideal beams

  6. Optical bandwidth (e-e- collision) Parameters 1 σz=0.7σzo σx=0.7σxo σy=1.5σyo ßx=10.3mm ßy=0.9mm * Parameters 2 σz=0.5σzo σx=0.8σxo σy=1.5σyo ßx=13.4mm ßy=0.9mm 29% of the e+e- luminosity Parameters 3 20% of the e+e- luminosity σz=0.5σzo σx=0.9σxo σy=1σyo ßx=17.0mm ßy=0.4mm *Luminosities normalized to the value obtained with Guinea-Pig for ideal beams for nominal parameters
