2. Select your name for a blog • This will be seen by others – don’t encourage you to use your own name, fake one you’d like • You can call yourself a barkingdog or runner or baby whatever • When you post a writing, the name will appear on the screen • It is different as what you select for URL

3. Change Name • In case you don’t like ‘barkingdog’ or ‘baby’, you can go to ‘layout’ then edit ‘about me’. You might change it as ‘beautyqueen’. • Don’t forget to save it • Whatever change you make, always save it • It’s like a document you type, without saving it, it is not there, no matter how much effort you put in

4. Name for URL • That’s different – it’s the title shows on the URL site • You can select the topic as URL, or select a 1st word from the book you open. I selected mine from a poem ‘of mere being’, so it’s my personal blog site now • If you don’t like the 1st one you selected, don’t worry, go to ‘publishing’, then change it

5. Don’t like your template Again It’s changeable • Go to ‘layout’ • Then ‘pick new template’ • Don’t forget save it once done

6. Remember you URL Type your URL to log in No ‘www’ before your URL, you can type as what it is without http://, the web search will help to find it Don’t worry about your personal gmail – it’s yours, it will not show to public and will not go anywhere

7. Your blog, you make fun Remember it is your blog you can do whatever as you wish
