Bhaktamar<br>Bhaktamar Strotra is created by Acharya Matunga is the impressive journey from the word Bhakta and last word Lakshmi. Bhaktamara Stotra is a famous Jain Sanskrit prayer. It was created by Acharya Manatunga The name Bhaktamara arrives from a combination of two Sanskrit word, "Bhakta" (Devotee) and "Amar" (Immortal). <br>The prayer praises Rishabhanatha (Badrinath), the first Tirthankara of Jainism in this time cycle. There are forty-eight parts in total. The last part tells the name of the author Manatunga. Bhaktamar verses were recited as a stotra (prayer), and were sung as a stavan (hymn), somewhat interchangeably.
