SIS is an independent non government, inclusive, state-wide information service in South Australia Established in 1994 as a not-for-profit organisation Receives funding from the Australian Government A service where real people answer the phone and assist you to find the information you needed 15th National Conference on Volunteering

What does SIS aim to do? • Provide relevant, timely and accurate information and support • Help anyone who contacts us to navigate their way through the health and community service systems or to find the information they need • Increase the capacity of Senior’s to access information in the digital world 15th National Conference on Volunteering

  12. What else could be done? • Home based one-on-one support with limited mobility • Funding support for IT training  for seniors  to meet the increasing demand for them to access Government information and services through the internet 15th National Conference on Volunteering
