Nutritious Value • Children (0-10 years) 6-10 mgs per day • 11yrs+ (inc adults) - males 10-12 mgs per day • 11yrs+ (inc adults) - females 15 mgs per day • Pregnancy 30 mgs per day
Causes of Iron Deficiency • Anemia • Loss of blood • Headache
Causes of Iron Toxicity • Death in children (200 mg) • Constipation • Nausea • Vomiting • Diaherrah
