The Senior Product Manager of Microsoft – Mr. Bill Weidenborneat himself confirmed that it is now possible for users to download the ARM64 version of the Teams desktop app from the official website of Microsoft Teams website. Considered to have been surfacing this month itself in the news, the new Teams app appears to have been updated and optimized to suit all the ARM-based devices like Surface Pro X. The version number of the app is 1.3.00.27972 at the moment. It is noteworthy for the users who are accessing the 32-bit version of the Teams desktop app under emulation on Windows on an ARM can automatically update their devices for the all-new version of Teams app. According to Microsoft,“no action is required” to be taken by users for updating the app since it will update automatically.
