STATE OBJECTIVES • A student should be able to define the diversity of living organism in a habitat. • A student should be able to classify various animals and plant based on common characteristics. • A student should be able to illustrate various animals and plant. • A student should be able to evaluate how many species of organism in the world. • A student should be able to construct the importance of biodiversity to the environment.   5. SELECT METHODS, MEDIA • & MATERIALS • Methods- Power Point Instructional Project- Use the Power Point Presentation in the classroom. Also can use online examination. • Media- Photos, multimedia, and video. • Materials- Involving the media/technology, specialist, surveying the sources, selection criteria & instructor’s personal file. • Extras: (guest speakers, video tape, computer, LCD panel and radio). UTILIZE MEDIA & MATERIALS • Preview the materials and practice the lesson by using Power Point Presentation and interactive media for teaching aids. • Next, prepare the classroom and be sure the necessary equipment and facilities are available and ready for class. REQUIRE LEARNER PARTICIPATION • Focus activity: (15 min)- Group discussion/ review of the variety of living organism and their classificationby using internet sources. • Game activity: (20 min)- “Flying Without Wings”. • Outdoor project: (1 hours)- Take photographs/ collect samples of flowers & present classification in the form of student album (Blog). Then, the students have to design their own presentation on what they observed by using multimedia- video, picture on slides. Also, they can share what it in the Class Group on Facebook. EVALUATE AND REVISE • Evaluate students performance: Online quizzes and chapter tests, projects (power point presentation), participation on what issues in Blog and Facebook. • Evaluate media components: Other teacher evaluations from the looks of projects, student evaluations (hard or easy, interesting or not, good idea or not), and suggestions from students, parents or cooperating teachers. • Evaluate instructor performance: Peer evaluation, student evaluation, cooperating teacher evaluation, and video myself in certain lessons and what to see how well it works.
