  6. I. Jesus Expects Church Members Not Be Hypocrites

  7. A fan is someone who sits down to eat dinner in a restaurant and bows their head to pray in case someone is watching.

  8. A fan is someone who would not go watch an R-rated movie at the theater but will watch them at home on cable.

  9. A fan is one who gives an offering not a tithe but they make certain everyone sees them place money in the offering plate.

  10. A fans primary concern in rearing their children is what other people think of their children and how other people view them.

  11. A fan is someone who will feed the hungry and help the needy but finds a way to work it into every conversation so everyone will know how generous they are.

  12. II. Jesus Expects Us To Value Relationship Over Rules

  13. Example:   On the Sabbath if you throw an object in the air with one hand is permitted as long as you catch it with the other hand.

  14. If you spilled something on the Sabbath you could not clean it up until the next day.

  15. You could not move a chairand the list goes on

  16. III. A Follower of Jesus Christ

  17. 1.  Followers of Jesus Christ are sinners who have been forgiven by Jesus Christ

  18. 2.  Followers of Jesus Christ are not what they used to be

  19. 3.  Followers of Jesus Christ are becoming what they will be
