  1. Graphic design is a creative process—most often involving a client and a designer…undertaken in order to convey a specific message to a targeted audience. Client: Miss Quan Designer(s): you and your partner Targeted Audience: parents, staff, and fellow students Overview: You are being commissioned by your math teacher, Miss Quan, to convey a message of your choice through the graphs of several linear functions on one set of axes. You will choose a message to convey, draw a picture representing that message, and translate that drawing onto an x-y coordinate plane, plotting points and finding the equations of every line present. You will then finalize your mathterpiece by transferring your message/drawing onto one of Miss Quan’s ceiling tiles. Graph-it Design Project Deliverables: Due: Mystery Picture Activity 8/28 Message Brainstorm 8/30 Blueprint on graph paper 9/4 Linear Equations Graph-it Organizer (L.E.G.O.) 9/6 Ceiling Tile Final Product 9/11 Placard with Description and Intended Message 9/11 Content: ESK 1 I can interpret and analyze functions ESK 2 I understand linear functions and their graphs
