  4. Archive Update (1/2) • 2009-01, “Global Policy For the Allocation of IPv4 blocks to Regional Internet Registries”: accepted in August 2010

  5. Archive Update (2/2) • In October 2010, ICANN announced that the NRO deemed the global policy proposal abandoned due to differences in the global proposal texts among the RIRs. Hence this proposal, although regionally accepted, will never be globally implemented.
