  14. ABOUT US • Life Writes Colombia began with conversations and questions among friends. How can we create stronger, more connected communities among students, teachers, neighborhoods, and others through storytelling and dialogue? How can schools become epicenters of dignity and opportunity? • These conversations initiated an impetus to share, to explore, and to begin a multi-year commitment between educators, students, and schools in the United States and Colombia to dialogue, collaborate, and create new pathways to the future.
