Family’s Affect on Behavior • Emotional stress and trauma • Manifests in behavior at school • Talk to student and attempt to identify the root of the behavior • Discuss with school counselor and behavioral team as needed • Is this a permanent condition or temporary? • What types of intervention are needed? • Who is responsible for implementation? • Is a behavior assessment needed? • Is a behavior plan needed? • If so, what is the targeted behavior[s] and behavior goal[s]?
