International Consortium Initiative • Designed for unique international projects with potential for significant impact on Canadian science • Project must be led by a Canadian researcher and request a minimum of $50 million over 3 years • Genome Canada will pay up to 25% of total costs • Workshop funds available to help develop consortia • One proposal and five workshops have been approved to date September 2005
